MUSIC EXAMS
Music Examinations are available 24/7 from anywhere in the world.
We utilize music lists/syllabuses from the ABRSM, Royal Academy of Music, ANZCA, AMEB, Suzuki, AGMS, the Royal Conservatory, the Royal College of Music & Trinity College to give students a broad music education, that also includes graded music for Orchestra Training.
All our awards are accredited by the Masters International Music Examinations Board of the Masters International School of Music. These Music Exams are divided into various 'series' representing the stages of performance from beginners to the highest professional levels.
There are two (2) types of assessment available:
- Online - via an independent Jury.
- Via Registered Teachers/Accredited Examiners who assess candidates internally.
COMPETITION
- Students work harder when they have a deadline and a goal to work towards.
- Students receive feedback from judges and adjudicators.
- Students have a systematic way to measure their achievement and advancement.
- Students come to understand that competition participation is a very powerful motivator for high-level performance practice.
CONCERTS
- Playing in a concert provides constant motivation to practice and improve by way of weekly rehearsals.
- Playing in an concert also helps students to develop their teamwork skills playing alongside their fellow musicians.
- Concerts are a great experience for overall music development.
- Concerts also create opportunities for the whole family to be involved as performers and as audience.
Why Music?
- Music is a Science
- Music is Mathematical
- Music is the International Language
- Music is steeped in History
- Music is Physical Education
- Music develops Insight
- It demands Intensive Research
- Whilst Music is all of these things,
- It is best known as an Art.
- And the reason why we teach Music
- Is not because we expect you to major in it
- But because we hope you will play and sing
- For all of your life and be all the more richer for it
- And because we believe that
- You will learn to recognise Form and Beauty
- By becoming closer to the Infinite beyond this World
- That you will have something to cling to
- Have more Love and Compassion,
- More Gentleness and more Goodness,
- And more of what LIFE can give you…
